30 week pregnancy update and more toddler photo-bombs

Peeps, I have to tell you, all those woes that I’ve been feeling so much when I was home are almost completely gone while we’re on vacation.  I don’t know if it’s the lessened stress, the warm weather, the humidity, or the constant exercise that I’m getting (probably a mix of all those things), but I’ve been feeling absolutely great!

I remember my pregnancy with Peanut and how healthy and fit I felt.  I was walking daily (and running in the beginning), eating well, resting a lot.  With baby 2 on the way, I’m constantly in a rush, always stressing about something, and rarely taking care of myself the way I did with Pea-pod.  The other thing that’s significantly different is the exercise.  While I was still getting some good walks in while it was warm, since the snow and the brutal cold in CT, I’ve barely made any time for a work out.  And I feel it.  I mean, really feel it.

I guess it goes to show you that what you do during the pregnancy can really affect how you feel.

Any who, with the beautiful daylight and the fact that I’m actually here to enjoy it, I decided to take a few pictures of the belly on vacation.

And even the actual belly.

(Yes, I brought my tripod on vacation…tell me I’m not the only one who does things like that).

(Also, the belly button is completely an outtie these days…maybe I should start putting a band aid over it so it doesn’t look funny….then again, I don’t really care).

And of course, as is always the case, the toddler photo-bomb.

She loves grabbing the remote and then saying “cheese” to the camera as it beeps and goes off.

And I even convinced my grinch to take a photo with me.

Here we are. 3.5 of us.  On vacation.  I wish we didn’t ever have to leave.

  • Size of baby: butternut squash (17 in, 3.1 lbs)
  • Total Weight Gain/Loss: I haven’t weighed myself this vacation, but last week at the dr I had gained about 23 lbs
  • Movement: She loves to move around…especially by sticking her foot into my ribs.
  • Cravings: No real cravings right now.  No aversions.  I have been wanting Mexican food lately though.
  • Great Moment this week: This entire vacation and feeling absolutely great.
