You guys, this was the week of things going wrong left and right. Thankfully, not a single incident was actually all that serious so we’ve been reminding ourselves that that’s what matters, but o.m.g. what a week. Monday was still a mess with the snow storm so we were home. Tuesday was a disaster at home while Jon was traveling – I could do absolutely nothing right by P. Wednesday we had a little scare with the baby, but everything turned out ok as far as the dr can tell. Thursday was Valentine’s day so of course we had a burst pipe at home and a bunch of water in our basement. Friday Jon had to stay home in the morning to wait for the plumber to repair the pipe and right as he pulled into the work parking lot, daycare called and P had 104 fever and I had to rush her home and attempt to get a full day’s work while she barely napped. Saturday brought false hope in the morning while P seemed better…then P’s fever kicked it into high gear and she was having hard, fast breathing and couldn’t sleep so of course we were all up the entire night. Sunday’s high winds took down a huge tree in our yard and then my websites went down. All in all though, the baby is fine, Peanut seems fine, and the tree missed our house so….it’s a win?

Playing with her kitchen :: Monday morning entertainment with mommy while dad’s in the shower :: wishing I could spend every morning playing with letters :: attempted to go to the office but after 30 minutes of battling the snow and ice, I ended up turning around and going home (I work 5 minutes form home) :: snack time :: my view – loves of my life, working from home :: after nap, helping mommy make cookies :: after a play date with the neighbor boys, Peanut enjoyed some more birthday presents :: making a mess, always

More birthday presents, mess-free hand painting! :: my very good looking Valentine, eating her breakfast :: my handsome Valentine :: waffle breakfast, aka syrup with a side of waffle :: V-day cookies P and I made :: my valentine knows me too well – flowers, chocolates and my very favorite, gummy bears (which I ate almost immediately…all of them) :: more snow :: Peanut’s room revamp is on the way…we donated all the furniture and emptied the room this week, finally! :: V-day dinner

Peanut pretending to enjoy v-day dinner :: hubby actually enjoying v-day dinner…after spending 40 minute cleaning up the basement from the water :: attempting to get a full work day finished from home while P is home with a fever and not napping :: Friday called for a Starbucks :: Saturday 1st birthday party with some friends :: birthday girl :: P enjoying a mini cupcake (aka just eating the icing) :: the theme was Teddy bear picnic (how cute is that???) so P spent some time making teddy bears :: the tree that came down in our yard…I don’t even want to think about how much this is going to cost us
How was your week?
Join in the fun – the rules are pretty simple: take pictures throughout the week (it can be your phone, iphone, camera, whatever) and post them with a link back to this post. Then come back here, link your posts, and check out some others.

So glad everything and everyone ended up being okay! I hate those weeks where nothing seems to go right!
So glad all is ok! What a week!
Oh my!! So glad the little nugget is fine!!!
So those gummy bears. Want to know who weird my sister and I are? We love those things. But we will grind our teeth down on them and the gummy gets between the teeth so it hurts, yet we like it!! LOL I know weird!!!!! I thought I was the one who did it until my sister confessed why she loves them. Sigh!!
PS I am in LOVE with your wood floors!!!
thanks – that room’s floors are in the best condition bc no one was ever in there and they were covered by rugs/bed. I’m sure once P has her way with them they won’t last
we had all our floors redone right before we moved in and they already look SO scratched
oh my goodness! That week sounds awful! And, dealing with that week while pregnant is even less fun. Glad the baby is ok and the tree didn’t hit your house and Peanut is feeling better =) I hope this week is MUCH better.
It was just a lot in a very short time span to deal with, ya know? Like kept piling on! Blah. I’m glad that week is over and that next week is vacation
What a week indeed! Aubrey also spiked a super high fever on Friday- what’s up with that? Glad P is feeling better!
Glad to hear you have vacation coming up. Sounds like it is well needed!
I had a bad week last week too! The blahs and crap is going around I guess. Glad you and your family are well. Get a chainsaw and have some fun with the tree!
Guess the sweets-bag says it all! In German the Slogan is “Harib0 macht Kinder froh – und Erwachsene ebenso!”
(Haribo makes kids happy – and adults as well).
Great everything is ok!
Oh man, what a week! It seems like everything always has to go wrong all at once! No fun!! On another note, those gummy bears are the best ever, and I think I have a huge bag in my cabinet I had forgotten about! Thank you for the reminder
