Gift Ideas

I don’t know if you guys are as obsessed with Amazon.com as I am (and believe you me…I am), but in case you are, I want to share a couple of secrets with you.

Did you know that you can get their 2-day free shipping membership (Prime Membership) for free?  In fact, there are two options.  First, you can try it for free for a month if you have never done it before with your account.  This works absolutely great for Christmas shopping!  And don’t worry about not being able to cancel – it’s super quick and easy to do.  Once you sign up, just click on your account and choose not to renew your membership automatically.

Another way is to become a free Prime member through Amazon mom (link here).  As long as you make purchases in the baby department (diapers, wipes, toys, clothes…the list goes on and on) you can qualify for additional free months up to a year!  It truly is free! And again, canceling the automatic renewal is as simple as clicking the option in your account.

With this in mind, if you’re an Amazon.com Prime member, you have 5 more days to buy your gifts and get them to your door in time for Christmas!  Which means that I don’t have to worry for at least another 4 days.

Any who, here are some ideas for gifts for the cooks and wine lovers in your life (yes, I am both; although the cook part is currently questionable).

Electric bottle opener ($20)

Wine glass charms (price varies and you can find super cute and cheap ones at Homegoods)

Presto griddle ($35) (check out my review of it here)

Cuisinart miniprep ($40, although I bought mine for $25 on Overstock.com because it was refurbished…totally worth it)

Mikasa Glassware, aka my favorite wine glasses ($35)

A good cook book, like Pioneer Woman ($25)

Onion goggles ($20)

(check out all of my awesome gadgets here)
