What a very stressful week but an incredible weekend we had! With the bathroom renovation coming to an end (aka, mess, everywhere), Jon traveling for 3 days while my grumpy 37 week pregnant body tried to keep up with the toddler and the housework and the stress at work and the “to do” list putting more and more stress on our already crazy schedule, I could barely make it out the other end alive. I know that people deal with much more, but I’m spoiled and this was tough. But then the weekend came and things started to settle down. Peanut and I had a wonderful play date with a working mom’s group. Jon’s mom came over to watch P while Jon and I did some shopping, saw a movie and went out to dinner. We finally started to attack the to do list, finished the big items on the bathroom, cleaned up a bit and even started to attack the yard.
Here’s what our week looked like by iPhone pics.

The only way to get the tot to wear a bib these days is to wear one yourself :: I told P that she had to take her finger out of her nose…so she covered her eyes because, ya know, if she can’t see me then I can’t see her :: breakfast for dinner :: painting with mess-free finger paint :: she calls it, rainbow fish :: meltdown on the way to daycare Friday morning…oh toddler years :: this pregnant chick’s treat on Friday night – teddy graham dipped in Nutella :: playdate at a local indoor playground :: date night with my guy

Chasing Gigi’s watch’s reflection :: a deep conversation over coffee with her Gigi :: cuddling with dad on the couch while he naps :: Sundays are for messy hair and toys scattered all over the living room while mom and dad just lounge :: oh and piggy back rides :: belly diaries from this week (and I finally got my hair highlighted!)
How was your week?
